Western Region Residential Care Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Care Worker in the Western Region. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to children and young people aged 10-17 who are under Child Protection orders.
">As a Residential Care Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Providing accommodation, physical and emotional care, and support to residents in line with their individual needs and plans.
- Working collaboratively with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality therapeutic care and ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
- Implementing best practice therapeutic interventions and program guidelines to promote positive outcomes for residents.
- Supporting residents' education, social, and recreational pursuits, and fostering independence and self-esteem.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Essential Skills and Qualifications- A Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts, including overnight shifts.
- A strong commitment to child safety, cultural safety, and inclusivity.
