Tech Operations Manager

Description

The Tech Operations Manager plays a vital role in the organization's Learning and Development team at the Technology Training Centre in Western Australia. This full-time position reports directly to the Tech Operations Manager and involves coordinating site operations, managing facilities, and ensuring a safe and rewarding experience for all users.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a facilities management program to ensure preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements are met
  • Managing site operations, including security, car parking, kitchen facilities, contract maintenance, and waste management
  • Coordinating site activities between teams and customers using the facility
  • Assisting in developing and managing promotional events and projects related to the facility

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Previous experience in administration, planning, scheduling, logistics, or facility management
  • Proven ability to manage internal/external customer relationships
  • Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools)
  • Understanding of HSEQ Management Systems and relevant ISO standards
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant State Legislation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
  • Trade Certificate and mobile equipment knowledge or mechanical aptitude (desirable)
  • Safety or mining industry qualification (desirable)
