About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced operations specialist to lead our team and ensure smooth workshop operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to technicians, apprentices, and trade assistants.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to maintain high work standards.
  • Assisting with planning and scheduling workshop jobs.
  • Managing vehicles, tooling, and training for workshop tasks.
  • Liaising with the parts department for correct part ordering and monitoring usage.
  • Performing maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on various engine and compressor models.
  • Commissioning new equipment and creating reports on completed maintenance work.
  • Maintaining company HSE standards and reporting incidents.

Requirements:

We seek a candidate with:

  • Relevant trade qualifications or a degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the natural gas industry.
  • Supervisory or managerial experience with a track record of leading a successful team.
  • Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of legislated health, safety, environment, and quality obligations.
