Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team on an exciting project focused on polarons, quasiparticles that represent impurities in quantum media.

The research will involve developing advanced theoretical frameworks, analysing polaron interactions, and exploring exotic quantum phases through spectral signatures.

Requirements:
  • Strong foundation in theoretical quantum physics, with a focus on ultracold gases or condensed matter systems
  • Experience with numerical simulations
  • High level of motivation and a genuine interest in fundamental research
About the Project:

This project is supported by the Australian Research Council and aims to deepen our understanding of polaron behaviour in ultracold atomic gases and complex quantum materials.
