Postdoctoral Researcher in Quantum Climate Analysis

We are seeking a talented postdoctoral fellow to join our research team and explore the application of quantum computing in climate science. The successful candidate will have a PhD in physics and expertise in programming languages such as Python.
The role involves implementing algorithms for climate analysis on quantum computers, performing experiments, and interpreting results. The fellow will also publish research papers and present findings at conferences.
Key Responsibilities:- Implementing algorithms for climate analysis on quantum computers/annealers
- Performing experiments, evaluating the performance of archetypal analysis on quantum computers, and interpreting the results
- Publishing the analysis as scientific papers
- Attending scientific conferences and presenting research results
- A doctorate (or will shortly satisfy the requirements of a PhD) in a relevant discipline area, such as physics
- Fluent with scientific programming, including Python
- High level written and oral communication skills with the ability to represent the research team effectively internally and externally
- A record of science innovation and creativity
