Job Title: Blast Crew Labourer

Carey Mining is a leading provider of mining and infrastructure services, with a strong commitment to supporting major clients and local communities.

The Role Overview

We are currently seeking experienced professionals for permanent full-time positions in our blast crew team. As a valued member of our workforce, you will have the opportunity to work on the Sunrise Dam gold project in Laverton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily blasting operations as part of the team.
  • Operate Loaders & IT equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet performance targets.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in blast crew operations or similar.
  • Experience with Loader & IT equipment operation.
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card (an advantage).
  • Current C or HR class driver's licence.
  • Valid National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months).
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening.

  • Superannuation contributions of 12% for every hour worked.
  • Fortnightly pay – every Wednesday.
