As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical consultation services within the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) and contributing to the teaching and training of medical students, graduates, and other healthcare professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide clinical management and treatment of patients under your care in a NSLHD facility or service, within the scope of practice endorsed by the NSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC).
- Conduct approximately 80% of time in a clinical role with patients attending the Sexual Health Service and/or clinical meetings.
- Serve as junior medical staff supervisor and provide clinical support to nursing staff.
- Participate actively in on-site provision of teaching for undergraduate students, postgraduate students, and other health professionals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in medicine, preferably with experience in sexual health medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- The capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in sexual health medicine.
This role is based in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with healthcare professionals from various backgrounds and specialties.
SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this role is $AUD 130,000 - $160,000, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
