Data Driven Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled payroll data analytics expert to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical reviews of payroll remediation projects, ensuring wage compliance and accurate entitlement calculations in accordance with legal instructions as a subject matter expert.
- Oversee FBT focused engagements by building complex data models to determine applicable FBT amounts and leveraging robotic procedures (RPA) to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies such as the Australian Taxation Office and Fair Work Ombudsman.
- Provide guidance to team members in coding, particularly in Alteryx, SQL, R, RPA, and data visualisation tools for FBT functions.
- At least 9 years of experience in payroll data analytics.
- Proven experience leading large, data-heavy engagements.
- Strong technical skills in Alteryx, SQL, R, RPA tools, and data visualisation.
- Demonstrated leadership within a Big Four accounting firm or equivalent.
- Excellent client communication and business development skills.
