Heavy Industry Marine Rigger

We are seeking skilled Heavy Industry Marine Riggers to join our project team at the East Arm precinct, Port of Darwin.
As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for lifting tubular and sheet piles, marine piling, structural steel and precast concrete installation in the marine environment.
About the ProjectThe Darwin Ship Lift Facility is a major infrastructure project being delivered by Clough Projects and BMD Construction (CBJV) for the Northern Territory Government. This facility will be the largest ship lift in Northern Australia, serving the maintenance needs of the Department of Defence, Australian Border Force, and the maritime sector, while supporting local jobs and economic growth.
Job OverviewThis role offers a competitive base rate plus penalties and site allowances, with a 54-hour workweek and potential for overtime. You will work locally, returning home every night, and have the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Requirements- Advanced Riggers license
- HRWL- scaffolder, forklift/Telehandler operations
- Working at Heights & Confined Space qualifications
- Current drivers license
- Current Construction Blue/White Card
- The ability to read and interpret plans
- A strong safety focus
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a large team or autonomously
- A commitment to safe work practices
