Energy Project Manager

The role of Senior Project Manager involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of major infrastructure projects within the renewable energy sector. This includes managing budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and stakeholder requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Lead high-profile projects connecting renewable energy sources to the grid while ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including government agencies, contractors, and local communities to achieve project objectives.
  • Work closely with the project team to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in project management within the energy sector.
  • Strong background managing substations and grid connection projects.
  • Experience working with or for companies similar to Transgrid is desirable.
  • Knowledge of 500kV infrastructure is an advantage.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
