Chemical Pathology Registrar Position

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Pathology Registrar to join our team. This role involves performing analytical laboratory techniques, assisting in the validation of laboratory results, and providing clinical liaison services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced clinicians and scientists to deliver high-quality pathology testing and interpretation. They will be responsible for understanding and performing complex analytical laboratory procedures, validating laboratory results, and providing clinical support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical laboratory techniques to provide accurate and reliable test results.
  • Assist in the validation of laboratory results to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Provide clinical liaison services to support patients and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APRHA), a current Victorian Working with Children Check Employee (WWCC), and previous experience in Chemical Pathology is highly desirable.
