Marine Insurance Claims Specialist Sydney

We are seeking an experienced Marine Insurance Claims Specialist to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for handling marine claims, including assessing damage, theft, and weather-related incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess marine claims, ensuring accurate determination of coverage and liability.
  • Liaise with clients, surveyors, and service providers to facilitate the claims process.
  • Interpret marine policies, providing clear guidance on coverage and requirements.
  • Coordinate repairs and negotiate quotes with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain detailed records.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in marine claims or a strong background in boating and watercraft operations.
  • A deep understanding of marine coverages and vessel types, including commercial and recreational vessels.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
