We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equine Professional to join our stable on a full-time basis.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for riding 8-10 horses per morning, educating young horses on the ground, managing a small team of horses and staff, and preparing training reports.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in horse training and handling
  • Proven ability to train and educate young horses
  • Excellent communication skills for instruction and information exchange
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safe equipment operation and personal protective equipment use
  • Demonstrated health and safety knowledge and skills in equipment operation relevant to racehorse preparation
Desirable Skills
  • Certificate III or equivalent international qualification
