About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage complex engineering & infrastructure assets and maintenance contracts for Monash Health facilities.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Ensure accurate asset data is maintained in the AIMS/ CMMS and implement management procedures to capture maintenance activities, asset maintenance histories, and maintenance costs.
  • Assist engineering managers to identify critical assets and develop Asset Management Plans (AMP) aligned with Asset Management Framework (AMAF) and ISO standards.
  • Manage minor works projects and ensure relevant maintenance contracts are managed effectively and efficiently to meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage contractor performance in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
  • Provide full coverage for maintenance & operations coordinators during their absence.
  • Ensure day-to-day maintenance needs are actioned in a timely manner.
  • Develop a comprehensive asset database across key Monash Health sites and implement necessary data/information management procedures to capture maintenance activities, asset maintenance histories, and maintenance costs.
  • Establish reporting mechanisms to track asset performance and analyze life cycle data.
  • Ensure financial accountability and sustainability initiatives, including energy management.

About You

Selection Criteria:

  • Appropriate trade qualification (Electrical, Plumbing) with comprehensive assets/contract management experience, preferably in a health engineering environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Building Services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of plant performance and maintenance strategies.
