About the Role

As Team Leader Collections, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for planning and streamlining waste operations. You will coordinate domestic and commercial waste collection teams to maximise customer service and minimise cost.

  • Provide leadership to the team and ensure they have the necessary resources to meet domestic and commercial waste services objectives.
  • Monitor and review operations to optimise production and reduce additional costs.
  • Liaise with the fleet workshop to maintain the availability of the waste fleet.
  • Support in ensuring policies, goals, objectives, and procedures are maintained.
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times and vehicles are in safe operational condition.
  • Undertake incident investigation and identification, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure effective onboarding of new drivers to undertake efficient bin collection.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to efficiently operate Microsoft Office Suite and computer systems that support business operations.
  • A current C Class Driver's Licence.
