Job Summary:

Environmental Compliance Lead

We are seeking a seasoned environmental leader to oversee and coordinate environmental compliance across our capital works program. As a key member of the project delivery team, you will ensure strong partner performance, regulatory compliance, and sustainability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster collaborative relationships with partners and stakeholders to ensure effective knowledge sharing and compliance with regulations and specifications.
  • Develop and implement environmental management systems to manage risks and ensure compliance on projects.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing environmental team, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Possession of an Environmental or Planning Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing sustainability, environmental, and statutory compliance activities for various asset types and project complexities.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the water industry or a similar environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and consultation with internal and external stakeholders.
