Maintenance Officer Job Description

As a key member of our facilities management team, the Maintenance Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of educational facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of cleaning, grounds, utility, and school officer duties as per service specifications. They will utilize complex instructions, materials, and equipment to ensure high-quality facilities support.

To succeed in this role, you will need to collaborate with teams to provide exceptional services across general maintenance and cleaning. Your strong work ethic, ability to learn, and physical fitness will enable you to perform the required tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver cleaning, grounds, utility, and school officer duties in line with Service Specifications.
  • Utilize complex instructions, materials, and equipment to ensure high-quality facilities support.
  • Collaborate with teams to provide exceptional services across general maintenance and cleaning.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within General Maintenance/Facilities Maintenance type roles.
  • A strong work ethic, ability to learn, and physical fitness.
  • Good communication skills, flexibility, and ability to obtain a Blue Card and undertake Functional Medical with D&A testing.
  • Hold a Current Drivers Licence.
