About the Role

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pathology Specimen Collector to join our team in Hervey Bay. As a key member of our Pathology Collection team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients with care and compassion
  • Maintain positive relationships with external clients, GPs, and Medical Centre staff
  • Receive and process urine and faeces samples
  • Record patient information accurately and efficiently
  • Complete online training via our eLearning training system
  • Liaise with referrers and ancillary services in a hospital setting
Requirements
  • Commitment to service excellence with good interpersonal and liaison skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to work various shifts
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating Saturday roster
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
