Job Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance to take on a key leadership role in Health, Safety and Wellbeing within a dynamic organisation.

About the Position

As HSW Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical information and guidance on Health, Safety and Wellbeing across the entire organisation.
  • Renewing and maintaining permits, accreditations, certifications, licenses and other compliance-related documents.
  • Managing workers compensation claims and insurance policies.
  • Assisting with coordination of the Covid Management Response program.
  • Leading the development and implementation of the HSW induction and training program, as well as conducting regular audits and inspections.
  • Developing and managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing programs and initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or degree qualification in Health, Safety and Wellbeing or a related field.
  • Extensive experience working in an HSW role, preferably in a scientific, health or academic environment.
  • A customer-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills, able to collaborate effectively across the organisation.
  • Strong management and organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
