Job Title: Warehouse Equipment Operator

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and experience with heavy machinery. They must also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers
  • Transport pallets of packaged products to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks
  • Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a forklift operator
  • Valid forklift license
  • Understanding of safety procedures
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate machinery safely

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and perform tasks that may require bending and reaching
