Warehouse Specialist

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the packaging and warehouse team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Load and unload trucks, taking care to prevent damage to products during transportation.
  • Transport pallets of packaged goods to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks, maintaining accurate inventory management procedures.
  • Stack and organise pallets in designated storage areas, following strict guidelines to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness in record-keeping.
  • Pick and pack individual cases or bottles using an RF scanner, meeting tight deadlines and productivity targets.
  • Educate machine/conveyor issues to line leaders, providing valuable insights and solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Specialist or equivalent role, with a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid forklift license, with a good understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Able to lift and move heavy objects safely, with a focus on minimizing risk and injury.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods, maintaining a high level of energy and focus.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels, adapting to changing conditions quickly.
  • Able to safely operate a forklift and perform tasks that may require bending and reaching, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.
