Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced fashion designer to join our team. As a fashion designer, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative designs that meet the latest trends and styles.

  • Knowledge of garment construction and experience in assisting in all aspects of design from concept to sampling to final production is required.
  • A tertiary qualification in Fashion Design or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge and analytic skills are essential for this role.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure are also necessary.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign & Acrobat is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and create new collections of high-quality clothing items that meet the company's standards.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing strategies that showcase the brand's style and aesthetic.
  4. Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  5. Work closely with the head of design to ensure alignment between design vision and business goals.
  6. Ensure that all designs meet quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience.
  • Australia Work Authorisation (required).
  • Roseville, NSW 2069 commute preferred.
