We are seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to lead our project teams on site, delivering projects in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals who have worked on brownfield projects within the mining, chemical or mineral processing industries.

The successful candidate will possess significant experience in supervising construction teams and contractors, with a strong focus on health, safety and environmental considerations. They will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards, and have working experience of using standard software including Microsoft Word and Excel.

This role involves managing construction teams and contractor workforces to assure safety and quality in site implementation, in line with scope, budget and schedule objectives. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive a high performance team culture by leveraging company values.

Job Description

The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Providing construction inputs in design, supervision of construction teams and contractors across a portfolio of projects on site, through completions and Ready for Start-Up (RFSU)
  • Working closely with team members and stakeholders to establish and grow effective business relationships with clients, employees and external parties
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders within a complex landscape to enhance and implement continuous improvement in the project construction and completions framework;

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 12 years' trade experience, supervising construction teams and contractors on projects within the mining, chemical or mineral processing industries
  • Trade certificate (Mechanical fitter and/or E&I trade - preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing and standards
  • Working experience of using standard software including Microsoft Word and Excel
