About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Specialist to join our team at Latrobe Regional Hospital. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing leadership and medical management of our Critical Care Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership and management of the Critical Care Unit
  • Develop and implement clinical governance frameworks to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Train and supervise medical and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Fellowship of the CICM or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
