Supply Chain Director Role Description

Hysata is accelerating the transition from fossil fuels to green hydrogen with the world's most efficient electrolyser, driving a leap in performance that enables a radically simpler system design. This innovation slashes both energy use and system costs.

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategy aligned with business growth and manufacturing plans;
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with contract manufacturers, key material suppliers, and logistics partners; and
  • Report supply chain risks, issues, and opportunities to the leadership team.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management or a related field;
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in supply chain management and/or operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role;
  • Ability to lead and optimise supply chain operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners;

The Supply Chain Director is responsible for building, leading, and optimising the supply chain to support the transition from R&D to manufacturing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead vendor qualification, selection, and onboarding processes, ensuring quality, compliance, and risk management;

  • Mature procurement policies, systems, and processes;
