Job Overview

The Supply Chain Director role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic supply chain initiatives to support business growth.

This position requires a balance of hands-on procurement activities and leadership skills to ensure resilient material supply, qualified vendors, and strong relationships with contract manufacturers and key suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategy aligned with the organization's growth plans.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with contract manufacturers, key material suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Report supply chain risks, issues, and opportunities to the Leadership Team.
  • Lead vendor qualification, selection, and onboarding processes, ensuring quality, compliance, and risk management.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, supply contracts, and long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Mature procurement policies, systems, and processes.
  • Plan ongoing ERP enhancements (Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations).
  • Ensure competitive, ethical, and transparent procurement practices.
  • Oversee purchasing activities to ensure continuity of supply; manage supply planning and coordination with manufacturing, engineering, and finance.
  • Balance hands-on procurement with leadership, especially during high-demand or critical supplier negotiations.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks; ensure HSSE, ESG, and ethical sourcing requirements are met; implement OKRs and continuous improvement.
