About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading regulatory body as a Principal Legal Officer, where you will play a key role in advising on a broad range of regulatory, compliance, and advisory matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on statutory decision-making, functions, and powers;
  • Assist with the development of procedures, policies, and governance to support regulatory requirements;
  • Provide expert advice on administrative and public law matters, including disciplinary matters, negotiations, arbitrations, and appeals;
  • Contribute to the development of regulatory policies and procedures;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in public and administrative law;
  • Government/public law experience highly regarded;
  • Excellent research and statutory interpretation skills;
  • Analytical and problem-solving mind.
