Experiential Event Manager

Seeking an experienced event professional to manage large-scale events with a global company that specializes in hybrid and in-person events.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to develop strong relationships with clients and venue staff, ensuring seamless event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the setup, execution, and teardown of event staging services within venues
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and venues to ensure successful client relations and smooth event running
  • Advise clients and venue staff on suitable audio-visual equipment, digital options, and crew requirements to meet their presentation needs and budget expectations
  • Manage crew rosters and schedules efficiently
  • Identify and address any areas of concern promptly to rectify problems with equipment, crew, venue staff, or clients in a timely manner
  • Develop strategies to increase revenue opportunities in applicable venues
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance individual and team capability

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in events and sales environments
  • Excellent planning, organizational, time management, and account management skills
  • Strong sales and business acumen, with a proven track record in managing high-performing sales teams within third-party venues
  • Ability to foster meaningful business relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Prior experience in rostering and cost management is highly regarded
  • Qualification in Hospitality or Events is advantageous
