Visual Arts Specialist Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Visual Arts Specialist Teacher to join our educational community. The successful applicant will have demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the wellbeing of children, possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience, and be confident in the use of ICT.

Job Description:

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing students with a stimulating and challenging learning environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and critical thinking. They will also be expected to develop and implement engaging visual arts programs that cater to diverse student needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement visual arts programs that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse students
  • Provide students with opportunities to explore and develop their creative talents in various mediums
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver integrated curricula that promote interdisciplinary learning
  • Assess student learning and progress, using data to inform instruction and drive improvement
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and promotes social justice

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in visual arts education
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality instructional programs that meet student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives
