Job Description

We are seeking an Arts Education Specialist to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering Years 10 to 12 Visual Arts curriculum.

The role requires creating a child-safe environment for students, adhering to the school's Child Protection Policy and Child Safety Staff Code of Conduct. The applicant must also collaborate with various stakeholders to monitor student progress and well-being.

The Arts Education Specialist will provide timely marking and feedback to student work, ensure up-to-date student data management systems, and develop programs that leverage technology to enhance learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Years 10 to 12 Visual Arts curriculum
  • Create a child-safe environment for students
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor student progress and well-being
  • Provide timely marking and feedback to student work
  • Ensure up-to-date student data management systems
  • Develop programs that leverage technology to enhance learning

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful applicant must possess a Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification, and a strong commitment to Catholic education. They must also have the ability to build and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Benefits:

The role offers a full-time ongoing position with remuneration based on experience, following the Teacher scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).

Others:

The successful applicant must hold a valid Victorian Institute of Teaching registration. While accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.
