Job Title: Warehousing Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehousing Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about managing all aspects of warehousing, receiving, inventory management, and transport for raw materials and finished goods.

  • Effective stock control management through FIFO method.
  • Responsible for ensuring coverage across all docks during shift and overseeing general housekeeping across all docks.
  • Maintain yard, including monitoring inbound/outbound trucks, managing pallet receipts, issues, transfers, and discrepancies.
  • Oversee all inbound/outbound paperwork (delivery dockets, purchase orders, equipment checklists, etc.).
  • Maintain a safe work environment for the team, including maintaining and managing the safe operation of all equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, including delegation of tasks. Additionally, they should have a working knowledge of safe forklift practices and pre-op checklist ownership.

They should also have a valid Licence to Perform High Risk Work (LF) with experience operating a High Reach forklift up to 5 bays high.

Able to start at 5am, with some flexibility required, they must be able to work under pressure in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

Ability to work in a cold-room and freezer environment, knowledge of working within strict quality standards guidelines, eye for detail and pride in work.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
