Job Description

We seek a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to spearhead our cloud infrastructure and operations. This role will be instrumental in optimizing efficiency through automation, management, and strategic deployment.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in DevOps, automation, Ansible, Python, and scripting (Bash, shell), ensuring seamless deployment, scalability, and reliability of our cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, Implement, and Maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipelines: Develop automated operations using DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation to manage and provision cloud resources.
  • Automate System Configurations and Management: Leverage Python and shell scripting to automate tasks and improve system performance.
  • Monitor System Performance and Troubleshoot Issues: Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Implement Security Best Practices and Compliance Policies: Ensure secure cloud environments by implementing industry-standard security protocols and compliance policies.
  • Maintain and Enhance Cloud Infrastructure: Draw upon experience with AWS, Azure, and Vault to maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong Experience with DevOps Practices and Automation Tools: Proven expertise in using DevOps tools to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Ansible for Configuration Management: Skilled in using Ansible to manage and configure systems.
  • Expertise in Python for Scripting and Automation: Proficient in using Python to automate tasks and improve system performance.
  • Experience with CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Hands-on Experience with Cloud Platforms: Experienced in working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle.
  • Familiarity with Containerization: Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is an asset.
  • Strong Understanding of Networking, Security, and System Administration: In-depth knowledge of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
