Senior Fashion Procurement Specialist

This role is for a seasoned professional to lead the procurement strategy for women's trend categories in a leading fashion marketplace.

About The Position:
  • The ideal candidate will play a pivotal part in shaping the women's trend category, curating a selection that reflects the latest trends and meets evolving customer needs.
  • Market research and analysis will be crucial in staying up-to-date with the latest e-commerce industry trends and making informed recommendations on product and/or brand selection.
  • Inventory management expertise will ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Vendor performance evaluation and selection/deactivation processes will require meticulous attention to detail.
  • Negotiation of favourable terms and conditions for contracts with vendors will be essential.
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, must be ensured.
  • Accurate records of vendor details, including brand plans, SKU lists, and department brand profile matrices, will need to be maintained.
  • Data analysis and interpretation will inform strategic decisions.
  • Identifying cost savings opportunities and proposing effective procurement strategies will be key responsibilities.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers will be vital for achieving mutual goals and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Liaising with internal teams and providing ongoing support to vendors will be necessary.
  • Collaboration with key brands to build assortment will be required.
  • Strategic planning and problem-solving skills will be essential in managing inefficient and unproductive brands.
