Senior Women's Trend Category Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Women's Trend Category Specialist to join our commercial team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth and shaping category strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, negotiating favourable terms and conditions with vendors, and evaluating vendor performance. They will also assist in the selection and deactivation process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

A strong team player with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills is required to succeed in this role. The ideal candidate will be able to provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members and adapt to changes in the market and industry.

  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive business growth
  • Conduct market research and stay up to date with the latest trends and products in the e-commerce industry
  • Maintain adequate stock levels and monitor inventory levels
  • Evaluate vendor performance and select or deactivate vendors
  • Negotiate favourable terms and conditions for contracts with vendors
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Analyse data and interpret trends to propose informed decisions
  • Identify cost savings opportunities and propose effective procurement and platform strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Liaise with internal teams and vendors to achieve mutual goals
