Senior Accounting Professional

About the Role

The Senior Accounting Professional will play a pivotal part in driving our organisation's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of client work
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, working closely with partners
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by assisting with staff training
  • Lead and review the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for various entities
  • Prepare and lead reviews of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for companies and trusts
  • Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, MYOB, and Xero
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients
  • Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic approach
