Transport Asset Manager

We seek a motivated professional with expertise in transport asset management, safety reporting, cost optimisation, and strong people leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the safe and efficient movement of materials to and from company and vendor sites, ensuring compliance with policies and legislative requirements.
- Plan and manage transport schedules, routes, and resources to achieve cost-effective and timely delivery, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency.
- Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, ensuring all team members adhere to safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and follow compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery. Implement innovative solutions to optimise transport efficiency and performance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records related to transport activities, safety incidents, and compliance.
To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:
- Extensive experience in transport is essential for this role.
- Providing leadership and support on all Safety matters and CoR compliance
- Comprehensive understanding of CoR principles
- Excellent negotiation, planning, scheduling, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation such as the Road Traffic Act & Regulations and Chain of Responsibility.
