Job Description:

The Workday Recruiting Principal Consultant plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex intersystem problems. This expert guides clients through transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday HCM implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop expertise in Workday Recruiting and Talent product knowledge, encompassing design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Leverage this expertise to recommend best solutions based on client requirements, with flexibility to adapt scope as additional needs arise.
  • Guide clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions, incorporating best practices and understanding of unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
  • Regularly engage and support clients throughout all phases of the project, ensuring smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday HCM solution.
  • Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping clients, project team, and Engagement Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project.
  • Collaborate with the integration team to configure and test integrations between the Workday solution and clients' selected payroll and benefits providers.
  • Display hands-on expertise of software, including loading customer data, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuring business processes and security.
  • Utilize technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via loads.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, HRIS, or a related field is required.
  • Certification in Workday HCM, Workday Recruiting, or Workday Talent is preferred.
  • 2+ years of Workday implementation experience is highly desirable.
  • 2-5 years of Human Resources, Payroll, or financial software experience is required.
  • 2-5 years of implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software is highly desirable.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines is essential.
  • Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Financials Management is necessary.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations, are crucial.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint programs, is beneficial.
