Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Broome Regional Health Campus. This role involves participating in the delivery of high-quality medical imaging services, supporting patient diagnosis and treatment by performing imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing medical imaging procedures using X-ray, CT scan and sonography equipment.
  • Ensuring patient safety during imaging procedures.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient information and imaging results.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or Australian citizenship/permanent residency (for permanent appointments).
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g. medical imaging technology, radiography).
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. Medical Radiation Technologists Board of Australia).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
