About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Sessional Healthcare Professional to join our team. As an integral part of our clinical education unit, you will be responsible for supervising students effectively, providing academic guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities
- To incorporate culturally sensitive healthcare practices into student placements.
- Supervise students with a focus on active learning, supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
- Provide academic guidance and advice to students related to their clinical placement.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure effective delivery of clinical education programs.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in the field of nursing, midwifery or allied health.
- Experience in teaching and/or research within a university environment is highly regarded.
- Evidence of progress towards advanced clinical or academic qualifications is desirable.
