Support Worker

Bethanie is a leading aged care provider in Western Australia. With over 70 years of experience, we empower ageing Australians to lead their most meaningful lives by recognising old age as a positive force in society and giving a voice to those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale.

We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Geneff Aged Care Home. Our home is co-located with a retirement village, with 38 beds across four houses located a short walk away from Stirling Station.

You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day-to-day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members.

Our Support Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to our residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

About You
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
  • Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well as a team and also independently
  • Willingness to uphold our organisation's values and mission
  • Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
The Role
  • Assess care plans and ensure residents' needs are met
  • Ensure services are delivered in a timely and safe manner
  • Deliver personal care tasks with dignity and respect
  • Maintain residents' rooms and the facility environment to an appropriate standard
