Social Work Services Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate social worker to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to clients in liaison with medical, nursing, allied health and other healthcare providers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting psychosocial assessments, risk assessments and collaborating with inter-agency partners for future care planning and discharge planning
  • Providing advocacy and support for patients, carers and families
  • Counselling and support in relation to illness, disability, loss, grief and bereavement
  • Consultation and intervention for family violence referrals

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Social Work (or equivalent)
  • Eligible for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Demonstrated ability to utilise a variety of social work interventions
  • Knowledge of community resources services to meet client needs
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A commitment to Ramsay's core values
