We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide trauma-informed support to individuals and families impacted by domestic, family, and sexual violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver client-centred assessments and therapeutic interventions to individuals and families affected by DFSV.
  • To build effective partnerships with external services and government agencies to support primary health care, recovery, and healing in the DFSV sector.
  • To collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advocate for women impacted by DFSV.
  • To contribute to policy development, service planning, and evaluation within the organisation.
  • To develop systems and protocols across health and welfare sectors to ensure best practice intervention and recovery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling, with eligibility or membership of a professional association.
  • Experience in providing therapeutic intervention to survivors of DFSV, with a commitment to trauma-informed practices.
  • Culturally responsive counseling skills, particularly to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, with an understanding of intergenerational trauma.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
