The role of an Assistant Valuer involves providing support to the team through research and evaluation of property-related data, as well as assistance with reporting requirements.
- Accompany and assist the team in undertaking property inspections, including measurements.
- Undertake research of comparable property sales and other relevant information.
- Assist with evaluation and data analysis, including financial analysis and cash flow modelling.
- Contribute to the compilation of valuation reports, supported by appropriate commentary.
- Update the internal database.
- Monitor and highlight issues in relation to risk and compliance.
- Liaise with clients and external parties, as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Completion or completion of tertiary qualifications in Property or a related discipline.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent research and data analysis capability.
- Disciplined and organized with strong attention to detail.
- A strong desire to develop skills and knowledge.
- The ability to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements.
- A strong interest in property and the property market.
- Commercially astute.
