About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our SRE team in Sydney, Australia. As a member of our world-class team, you will bring your expertise and passion to learn monitoring, cloud infrastructure, and systems architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to support, design, and implement tooling and automation platforms.
  • Resolve site incidents on various levels of cloud infrastructure, from Network, OS to Application issues.
  • Understand end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services.
  • Partner with development teams to define and implement improvements in service architecture.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles.
  • Act as escalation point for complex or critical issues not yet documented as Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Develop automation for repetitive or simple tasks.
  • Provide investigation and troubleshooting input during major customer-impacting events.
  • Work fully in Linux terminal.
  • Work with monitoring and analytic tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch to resolve incidents and identify problems.
  • Cooperate with multiple teams to build systems and services that improve operational efficiency, drive reliability, scalability, resilience, security, and performance across Oracle NSGBU product.
