About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Personal Care Assistant to join our experienced and dedicated team at St Vincent's Care Services Mitchelton. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and hygiene.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in aged care.
  • Ability to work on a casual basis, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
