Responsibilities

  • Treating each resident as an individual, empowering them to make choices and maintain independence through compassionate support.
  • Assisting residents throughout the day, monitoring changes in their preferences, needs, or wellbeing, and seeking help when necessary.
  • Supporting residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and oral care.
  • Providing emotional and social support, engaging residents in various lifestyle activities.
  • Facilitating mobility and assisting with meal delivery to enhance the residents' quality of life.
  • Completing necessary documentation and participating in health and safety initiatives.
  • Collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional service and positively impact our community.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or have completed a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support or related fields such as nursing.
  • Experience in personal care within the aged care sector is desirable.
  • A commitment to a holistic approach to care, supporting residents in achieving their personal goals.
  • We welcome applications from individuals currently studying nursing or those with overseas nursing qualifications.
