Job Description

We're seeking a skilled software engineer to extend our in-house blockchain systems infrastructure, analyze requirements and procedures, and improve existing systems.

You'll be responsible for building and owning scalable microservices that provide reliable and secure APIs for transferring value and assets across blockchain protocols and traditional banking protocols.

This role involves collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to design, test, and shape Circle features, developing and documenting system design procedures, testing procedures, and quality standards.

You'll also troubleshoot program and system malfunctions, build publicly accessible APIs for integrating complex payment systems, and integrate Platform Services with leading banks and financial technologies.

A strong focus on coding standards, code quality, and speed is essential, as well as excellent communication skills for collaborating with remote teams and presenting concepts effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-4 years of professional software development experience in object-oriented languages like Java and Go
  • Computer Science degree or a closely related field
  • Broad understanding of API design and REST principles, ability to derive and communicate a good design
  • Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
  • Experience with SQL databases and designing schemas
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar languages and technologies
  • Experience in deploying production-quality, scalable software
