**Job Title: Resource Manager**
The role of the Resource Manager is to support, manage and monitor the resource allocation for the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). The EPMO has been established to ensure that positive intentions are guided by disciplined program, project and change governance, resulting in the realisation of benefits in line with the strategic objectives.
The EPMO is comprised of three function and service areas:
- Governance and Tools: Development and maintenance of Program, Project and Change Governance and Management templates, frameworks, artefacts, tools, reporting and forums.
- Implementation: Enable implementation including provision of advisory and support services and capability uplift for enterprise-wide use of Program, Project and Change Governance and Management templates, frameworks, artefacts, tools, reporting and forums; provision of implementation resources, including Program/Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Change Managers and Change Analysts.
- QA, Audit + Analysis: The provision of QA and audit services and data analysis to ensure program, project and change data quality and integrity and to interpret and present data to inform enterprise-wide decision-making, prioritisation, risk and change management and benefits realisation.
Key Responsibilities**
- Assign available employees to projects in accordance with their skillsets and the project requirements.
- Monitor day-to-day project activities and corresponding resourcing.
- Capacity planning, ensuring that resources have capacity to work on upcoming projects.
- Monitoring and managing resources workload, utilisation and overtime hours.
- Manage resource conflicts.
- Overcome resource shortages by means of resource management techniques, reallocating resources, assigning more staff.
- Understand all current and upcoming projects within the Commission and be able to plan resourcing accordingly.
- Collaborate with the Commissions People and Culture team regarding staff training, compensation and benefit planning, payroll administration and hiring of new staff.
- Documenting of processes, e.g. weekly utilisation reports.
Requirements**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proven experience in resource management and/or project coordination.
- Knowledge of program, project and change governance and management principles and practices.
