Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Specialist to manage our subcontract processes and ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage subcontractors and negotiate terms, including preparation of tender comparisons for review.
  • Prepare, check, and review subcontract packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor subcontractors' environmental commitments and performance to maintain high standards.
  • Process payment schedules accurately and efficiently.
  • Understand and mitigate contractual risks associated with subcontractors.
  • Handle progress claims, delay claims, and external variations according to contractual obligations.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related field is essential.
  • Minimum 2-3 years post-graduate experience in a similar role within a fit-out and refurbishment company.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required for financial analysis and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills enable effective collaboration with colleagues and subcontractors.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills facilitate strong relationships with team members and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary for performing administrative tasks efficiently.
