2nd Line IT Support Technician

We are working with a growing MSP IT company in the Worthing area who are looking to recruit a friendly and experienced 2nd Line IT Support Technician for their busy help desk.

Role: 2nd Line IT Support
Area: MSP IT Support Company
Location: Worthing, West Sussex

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Answering incoming helpdesk enquiries, and providing assistance to the 1st Line Support team to resolve customer issues.
  2. Offering customer support to more complex IT / Network / VOIP issues.
  3. Server Configuration and monitoring.
  4. Ensuring customers are dealt with professionally, and meeting SLAs.
  5. Hands-on with all server and desktop products, as well as a variety of networking and other components I.E Routers, Printers and bespoke applications.

Opportunities for Growth:

Once established within the company, you could get the opportunity to go out and complete client site checks with installations and upgrades.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working at 2nd Line level is required.
  2. Experience working within an MSP environment would be preferably, but not essential.
  3. Microsoft Office 2010 through to 2019 & Office 365 Administration.
  4. Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008.
  5. Knowledge of Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / 2019.
  6. An understanding of networking protocols and devices (particularly Draytek / Netgear).
  7. Previous experience working with Telephone Systems would be an advantage but not required.
